The 47th American President went to predominately Black college to speak at this years graduation….
There was a very small quiet protest action in their seats by a a half a dozen students and one staff member…
The President saw and responded to that saying he supported ‘peaceful protest’…..
The President WAS there to remind the school and American Blacks that he and his party HAVE been supportive….
And that he supports and IS helping the those suffering in the Israeli/Hamas conflict.
And that Donald Trump is trying to pimp their vote while running with and supporting White supremest groups….
As many as six students could be seen seated with their backs to Biden at one point, fists raised in the air. At least one faculty member appeared to be doing the same thing.
Biden recognized the protests and said he respected them. “Let me be clear: I support peaceful nonviolent protest. Your voices should be heard and I promise I hear them,” he said.
Tensions have intensified on campus in recent weeks as groups of students, faculty and alumni at this historically Black, all-male institution demanded Biden’s invitation be rescinded over his support of Israel.
But the school held fast to its invitation, and Biden used the platform to make his pitch to Black Americans.
He touted historic investments in historically Black colleges and universities like Morehouse and highlighted the diversity he has put in place at the highest levels of government. He said he was drawn into politics by the example of Martin Luther King Jr., a Morehouse graduate whose bust sits in the Oval Office. Biden also sought to contrast himself with Donald Trump, his likely opponent in November’s election, saying Trump and other Republicans would dismantle the progress Black Americans have made in the past three years….

Biden also talked about the conflict in the Middle East, saying he recognized the humanitarian crisis.
“What’s happening in Gaza and Israel is heartbreaking,” he said. “It’s a humanitarian crisis in Gaza. That’s why I’ve called for an immediate cease-fire, an immediate cease-fire to stop the fighting. Bring the hostages home. ”…
