Israel’s war cabinet met for a second day to weigh a response to Iran’s missile and drone attack over the weekend, as the Biden administration said the U.S. would not take part in any reprisal attacks. World leaders condemned Iran’s barrage and called for restraint. During a visit to Nevatim air base, which was damaged in the Iranian barrage, Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi said in remarks shared on social media that Israel would respond to the attack, but did not say how.
