Folks?
Things are NOT THAT simple after Six months since the Oct. 7 terrorist attack against Israel…..
Thousand of Israeli’s ARE protesting steadily for the return of hostages held for 6 months….
But?
Pursuing the actions against Hamas IS also supported by most Israeli’s….
In fact?
The Netanyahu Government is NOT going anywhere….
That said?
The Israeli Prime Minister IS under increasing pressure to DO SOMETHING about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza….
THAT is NOT about Stopping the hunting down Hamas…..
The taking out of the 7 aid workers has further hurt Israeli relations with the outside world which the Israeli government seems to care less about….(The troops in involved could be charged criminally)
Several DIFFERENT terrorist groups….Not just Hamas , are attacking Israeli troops….
The conflict IS costing the American President polling numbers that he needs….
Finally?
Yes… The Biden admin IS allowing military aid and equioment Congress has authorised before to keep flowing and has the FI and CIA helping Israel track down the Oct.7 terrorists….
Here’s what we know:
Antigovernment protesters flooded the streets to demand that the prime minister make a deal with Hamas for the remaining hostages. As the body of a hostage was retrieved from Gaza, many said they were running out of patience.
-
The recovery of a hostage’s body in Gaza fuels anger at weekly protests in Tel Aviv.
-
Israel says it recovered the body of a hostage who was taken from a kibbutz on Oct. 7.
-
Israel and its military are on alert, awaiting a promised strike by Iran.
-
Night deliveries of aid in Gaza pose unusual challenges….
…
The U.S. wants Israel to make changes “to ensure that something like this can never happen again,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Friday, and is “looking to see not just what steps are being taken but the results that follow from them.”
Palestinian fighters have claimed several attacks targeting Israeli forces near Deir al Balah in the central Gaza Strip in recent days. Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) claimed on April 6 that its forces returned from the front lines east of Deir al Balah and reported attacking an Israeli tank with an explosively formed penetrator. The al Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, which is the self-proclaimed militant wing of Fatah, separately mortared Israeli forces near Deir al Balah. Commercially available satellite imagery captured on April 5 shows flattened terrain southeast of Deir al Balah, indicating that Israeli bulldozers and/or bulldozers are operating in the area.
Update….
“Tens of thousands of Israelis took to the streets on Saturday to protest against Benjamin Netanyahu, as Israel’s war in Gaza reached its half-year mark,” Agence France-Press reports.
“Organizers said about 100,000 people converged at a Tel Aviv crossroads renamed, Democracy Square, since mass protests against controversial judicial reforms last year.”
