The 2024 President Biden campaign kicks off….
Air Force One is gonna be making the rounds…..
BIDEN HAS TWO BIGGEST FUNDRAISING HOURS OF CYCLE —Shortly before 11 p.m. last night, JOE BIDEN’s campaign called us to offer an exclusive: The 9 p.m. hour — when Biden was revving up his State of the Union speech — was the best fundraising hour his reelection campaign has had since its launch last April. We accepted the offer. A few minutes later, they texted us back: The 10 p.m. hour was even better — they were the two most lucrative hours online for the campaign yet this cycle….
…
WHERE BIDEN GOES FROM HERE — Beginning today in Philly, Biden hits the road, kicking off an at-least-month-long tour for him, VP KAMALA HARRIS, Cabinet members and senior aides across the country to keep the message from last night in front of the American people.
Among the states on the calendar over the next week: Pennsylvania, Georgia, Texas, Michigan, Florida, Ohio and Arizona.

Tommy Tuberville is praising Katie Britt’s much maligned response to the SOTU saying she was great in hee assigned role of “housewife.”
You can’t make this shit up!
jamesb says
A house wife that IS a US Senator…. That made a lousy speech…..
jamesb says
This IS why I can’t see Trump with a woman Vice President
Democratic Socialist Dave says
And to think that Alabama replaced Doug Jones and Richard Shelby (proof that the Heart of the Confederacy can elect serious legislators) with Tommy Tuberville and Katie Britt.
jamesb says
A move backwards for sure…
But i mean that IS Alabama
CG says
Trump caught on mic saying :“I told him, ‘Bibi’ — and don’t repeat this, but ‘You and I are going to have a come to Jesus—’
No, wait, that was Biden last night.
Very dumb and offensive. Hopefully, he will be old and wise enough to apologize.
Scott P says
Yawn. The “come to Jesus” figure of speech has been said anc directed to plenty of people who are not Christians. Be they Jewish, Atheists, Muslim.
Call me when a legitimate holocaust denier wins a Democratic gubernatorial primary.
CG says
Take my word for it, it’s offensive. And yes, it is offensive against anyone who is not a Christian. Jesus has nothing to do with any of this.
If a Republican President ever said that about a leader of Israel, or even worse about a Muslim leader, it would have been considered a tremendous offense. Imagine if Trump said that about Zelensky.
Put the pom poms down for a minute and admit your guy shouldn’t have said it.
Also, off the top of my head, I recall a Holocaust denier winning the Dem nominate for U.S. Senate in Tennessee in 2012.
jamesb says
It’s just a saying…..
I use it sometimes ….
Coming to your senses….
He said it….
I , for one, have NO issue with it….
It WAS a stellar performance…..
jamesb says
With the thing now Biden vs Trump?
The media turns to a young NON-Trump Republican….
What a surprise….
Scott P says
And Trump would never say “come to Jesus” he’d say “have a come to me” moment.
And evangelical would be just fine with it
CG says
Duncan/Sinema sounds like a great marketing campaign for the donut chain.
Scott P says
Sinema already said she won’t run.
They’ll need to get a former ICounty councilman from Idaho to be VP with the former Lt. Gov od Georgia as President
CG says
It’s not “just a saying” when directed towards a Jewish person. There is a lot of historical significance associated with what that saying infers and it has led to a lot of death and persecution over many generations. This is not the right time in America for anybody to be engaging in anti-Semitic tropes.
jamesb says
I undrestand your feelings ….
But just like Christmas ….
A LOT of people are going to see this as non-Religious……
CG says
In this instance he knew exactly what he was saying which is why he told the people “don’t repeat this.” He is well aware that Netanyahu is Jewish and is the leader of a Jewish country, the only one that exists on Earth.
No official of the American government should be judging anyone contingent of if they believe in Jesus or not or speaking about the need for a religious conversion. There would be outrage beyond belief if any American President used that term in regards to the leader of a Muslim nation, in which there were political differences between the governments.
People need to put the pom poms down and stop acting like the Trump apologists who for years have been excusing everything away with “it’s just words” dismissal. Words have consequences. Over the last several years, Jews in the United States have been subjected to unprecedented levels of violence and harassment because of what people think they believe or do not believe.
Biden did not intend to be malicious towards all Jews or cause harm to them, but his “eavesdropped” comment was very offensive.
jamesb says
Joe Biden HAS shown a STRONG supportive effort to Israel….
Under domestic pressure and taking a polling beatdown…..
Biden will get NO problem from American Jews I’d bet…..
jamesb says
We’ll skip the part about the Israel PM screwing the American President STEADILY……
Keith says
I see Corey is demanding yet another apology for what can only be described as a manufactured outrage over something every Jew I know has said on occasion. I really don’t know any Jew, no matter how observant, that would take offense. It’s not the 1200s.
But hey the President gave a great speech and he got the best of the MAGA party last night, so best change the subject among the five (give or take one) posters here.
Now I wish the hot Mike had caught uncle Joe telling Bibi to go fuck himself and to resign.
But you have to give our friend Corey credit, he can imagine insult from miles away.
Scott P says
Yeah Keith. Curious timing as to CG’s “outrage”.
He was so invested in the “Biden is old and feeble” narrative from a couple weeks ago after the Hur comments. Man that one aged like milk!
Now FOX News is all about Biden being TOO amped up. He must be on something! Lol.
But sure they’ll divert over to fake outrage over poor poor Bibi’s sensitivities too. Anything to take focus away from Biden owning the Trumpublicans last night. Snd also to divert from their laughable attempt to get the suburban women’s vote by picking a “housewife” to talk about how men should be making their reproductive decisions. Fron a kitchen no less!
CG says
You people really are exactly the same as the Trump Cultists. It could not be any clearer. They act the same way you act and make the same excuses you make. You are two sides of the same coin.
Is there any doubt that if Biden shot somebody on Fifth Avenue, three of you would applaud him for it?
jamesb says
ME?
I’d say lock’m up……
jamesb says
No immunity for the act….
No problem…..
Keith says
Now we’re comparing the use of a common phrase used by Americans of all faiths with the act of murder.
That made my evening.
Scott P says
CG’s old party is supporting an actual holocaust denier for Gov of NC.
But sure saying “come to Jesus” is just as bad.
Delusional.
Keith says
Oh I heard some Republicans this morning insisting that Biden’s doctor had given him some sort of speed to improve his performance.
It was an almost flawless speech hitting all the right points, so of course the complaint that he’s too political — and now this silly reaction to a common phrase.
I agree with Corey that there are Trump cultists and they control every segment of his party
Rather than feigning faux outrage over a saying that is hundreds of years old, a phrase my orthodox grandfather used. I would suggest Corey do something about getting his party back.
Scott P says
Lost in the comical overaacting in Btitts response was her odd rephrasing of Reagans famous “are you better off now than you were 4 years ago”.
She changed it to 3 years ago. Elise Stefanik was rightfully mocked earlier in the week for saying we were all better off 4 years ago with all kinds of memories of just how awful March 2020 was.
If you are on Facebook you know that the site reminds you of your “Facebook Memories” of what you posted on this date in years past. Very very soon everyone on FB will get daily reminders of such jolly memories as store shelves bare of toilet paper and and emergency rooms filling up.
I haven’t seen anyone write about the possible effect of this yet but changing Reagan’s words to avoid the last year of Trump’s Presidency shows that obviously Republicans know they can’t run on the original question.
Keith says
It’s the Trump playbook Scott and you’re spot on.
I remember unemployment and supply shortages when I think of the Trump administration and, of course, refrigerated trucks being used as morgues.
Good times.
jamesb says
They bought it…..
They gonna have to run on it…..
Keith says
Even before Biden’s very successful State of the Union there were four polls out (with large polling samples) that showed Biden pulling ahead of Trump.
And, before anyone says it’s the battleground states that count, I surely know that since I plan to work in one of them this fall.
But, this is about trends and the Biden coalition is coming home.
jamesb says
More Watched the State of the Union Address
