“Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley has applied for Secret Service protection because of increasing threats she has received as Donald Trump’s last major opponent for the 2024 GOP nomination,” the Wall Street Journalreports.
After the pre-convention shootings of RFK and George C. Wallace, Congress let candidates in a primary campaign (as well as in a general-election) ask for Secret Service protection.
DHS does a threat assessment that goes to Congress and White House I believe…..
She’ll get it……
It also gives a more serious perception to a campaign….
The Secret Service get’s off cheap this time…..
Biden and Trump already have Big Details….
Haley’s won’t be of their size….
The Service doesn’t have several this time…..

The detail’s go 24/7……
And add police escorts and they go wherever the canidate goes….

Limit the protectee’s access to public of course…
