There maybe Republicans that ARE ‘imploring’ Haley to drop out of the 2024 GOP Presidential primary nomination….
BUT?
She IS STILL raising money and STILL running….
Nikki Haley is continuing to fundraise across the country, despite recent losses to former President Trump in Iowa and New Hampshire.
Why it matters: She should have enough money to campaign beyond South Carolina, no matter the outcome.
What we’re watching: Haley has more than 10 fundraisers scheduled in the next two weeks — including in California, Florida, New York, and Texas —Axios has learned.
The intrigue: Tomorrow night she’ll be in New York City for an event whose hosts include Ken Langone, the Home Depot co-founder who previously said he was waiting for Haley’s New Hampshire results because he “did not want to throw money down a rat hole.”
- Other members of the event’s host committee include private equity titan Henry Kravis and hedge fund manager Cliff Asness, according to a copy of the invitation obtained by Axios.
The big picture: Haley has raised $4 million in online grassroots donations since New Hampshire, including $1 million in the 24 hours after Donald Trump threatened her donors with being “permanently barred” from Trump world if they continued to support Haley.
- The Haley-aligned PAC SFA Inc. recently announced an eye-popping $50 million in the second half of 2023.
What they’re saying: “Nikki is the last one standing between the rematch no one wants in Trump and Biden,” Haley campaign spokesperson Olivia Perez Cubas tells Axios.
- “70% of Americans want a different choice and that’s exactly what we’re giving them.”….
Note….
Trump’s party?

Sure it’s Trumps party.
Amusingly that National Review article you favorably commented on says it’s Trump party.Maybe you didnt read that part?
How long Nikki stays in is pure conjecture.
And to a large extent irrelevant .
I’ve yet to hear anyone here or elsewhere for that matter who thinks that Trump isn’t going to be the nominee.
The push for her to “ stay in” to f *** with Trump has some humorous aspect I presume .
When it does end though ,we already know what Nikki is going to do,.She’s already announced that she will support Trump.
That isn’t very funny though.

The linked piece points to the ‘softness’ of the Republican vote FOR Trump…..
U miss THAT ?
U also miss that the ‘softness’ COULD one of the reasons Trump LOSSES AGAIN……
My Name Is Jack says
Yeah I uh “missed “ it.
I saw nothing in this article about that.
My Name Is Jack says
Gee I guess you couldn’t find it either.

Anti-Trump Donors Keep Nikki Haley Afloat
“Fueled by defiant donors, Nikki Haley appears to be putting enough in the bank to finance her long-shot bid to slow Donald Trump from claiming the 2024 Republican presidential nomination through at least the Feb. 24 South Carolina primary and perhaps beyond,” the Wall Street Journal reports.
“The former South Carolina governor and United Nations ambassador has seen a burst in online fundraising—more than $4 million—since more fully framing herself as Trump’s nemesis after losing to him in last week’s New Hampshire primary. There are also signs that her large-dollar donors, many of whom have harbored a distaste for Trump, are remaining supportive of the last major candidate standing in his way.”

I think (and hope) that Nikki Haley’s chances (or of some other non-Trump) are greater than zero, but I (or others who remember the junk-bond financial crisis of 2007-2008 wouldn’t rely on the predictive judgement of Henry Kravis of Kohlberg, Kravis & Roberts (KKR).
