The House voted to formalize its impeachment inquiry into President Biden — an investigation that actually began almost three months ago.
It was a party line vote, 221 to 212, with every Republican voting in favor.
The vote helps Republicans enforce subpoenas in court.

A number of Republicans in swing districts say they’ll vote to authorize Biden impeachment inquiry today, but say they’re not sold yet on charging Biden with high crimes or misdemeanors.
“That’s a very different level,” Rep. Valadao said.
Nearly a quarter (24%) of Democrats and more than half of independents (+ 3/4 of Republicans) approve of beginning inquiry into impeaching Joe Biden, leading to a slight pro-inquiry majority — according to the latest NPR/PBS Newshour/Marist poll.
Fundraising HAS begun off this which is NOT a full blown impeachment effort….
I think this will also backfire on the House GOPer’s who just got a Defence Bill dropped in their lap to pass….
I have pointed out here that SEVERAL GOPer’s have indicated that they would NOT vote to indict Joe Biden for ANYTHING right now due to the lack of evidence of wrong doing….
It would seem that GOPer’s just KEEP digging themselves DEEPER in Shit in the House which I, for one , expect them to lose their majority in 2025…
