Rep. Don Bacon (R-NE) told a small group of reporters this morning that there are “probably not” high crimes or misdemeanors that Joe Biden has committed, The Messenger reports.
But he still plans to vote to authorize the impeachment inquiry.

“With the House prepared to formally launch its impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden, Republican senators are suggesting it’ll face a chilly reception in their chamber if it gets that far,” Politico reports.
“Even as they vow to keep an open mind if new, compelling evidence comes forward, GOP senators fear the move will only take away energy from other priorities and exacerbate already high partisan tensions on Capitol Hill.”
Bacon is one of those Republican “ moderates” you are always babbling about.
So apparently when one votes for the most radical right wing extremists to be Speaker of the House and then votes for an impeachment inquiry for a President with no discernible evidence that said President has done anything impeachable,one is an uh…
