Update…..The Israeli hostage’s ARE NOW in Israel….
The first 13 Israeli hostages were freed from Hamas captivity Friday as part of the captive exchange deal between Israel and Hamas; 39 Palestinian women and teenagers who were held in Israeli prisons were being released in exchange, according to a spokesperson for the foreign ministry of Qatar. Separately, Hamas also released about a dozen Thai nationals who had been held hostage, though there were conflicting reports Friday on the exact number released…..

The first group of 13 is reportedly in Egypt for the transfer to Israel….
Hamas also released 12 Thai nationals who were being held hostage.
They are being escorted by Red Cross staff ….
It is unsure that any Americans are in the group….
The group will be choppered to Isreal from Egypt….
Later 39 Palestinians released by Israel….
Israel has allowed more humanitarian aid back into Gaza….
A CNN reporter says at least 10 more hostages will be exchanged tomorrow…
- Israeli media are reporting that a group of Israeli hostages kidnapped by Hamas in the attacks of 7 October have been handed to the Red Cross in Gaza
- The reports say they are now headed for the Egyptian border – but the Israeli government has not officially confirmed this
- Their release comes after 12 Thai hostages were also freed by Hamas
- Later today, 39 Palestinian detainees held in Israeli jails are due to released to the West Bank
- Israel and Hamas struck a deal that will in total see 50 hostages and 150 Palestinian detainees released over four days
- The deal – mediated by Qatar – includes a four-day pause in the fighting
- More aid is also being allowed into Gaza – 60 lorries carrying medical supplies, fuel and food entered today from Egypt
- Hamas’s attacks on 7 October killed 1,200 people, with about 240 taken hostage
- Since then, Gaza’s Hamas-run health ministry says more than 14,000 people have been killed in Israel’s retaliatory campaign….
