The Washington Post gives the latest listing….
Let’s get started.
What’s ahead
In New York, we should see the Trump legal team begin calling witnesses in its civil fraud trial defense. The state attorney general says the former president and his company fraudulently inflated the values of his properties.
- That case is playing out at one of the country’s most recognizable courthouses; the sweeping front steps of 60 Centre St. in Lower Manhattan are known to many Americans as the dramatic backdrop for several decades’ worth of “Law & Order” episodes.
- Last week, the trial brought us real-life courtroom drama in the form of angry testimony from Donald Trump on the witness stand. This week, we get … math.
On Tuesday at 2 p.m., Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis, the top prosecutor in the Georgia case against Trump, will appear at a Washington Post Live event featuring female leaders across the country.
- Our colleague Amy Gardner, who has been closely covering the Georgia case, will be interviewing Willis. Register and watch the event live here.
Now, a recap of last week’s action…
