President Biden confirmed that there are now 14 Americans confirmed among the dead in Israel after the attack by Hamas, CNN reports.
He also said that there are Americans currently being held hostage in Gaza.
Said Biden: “In this moment, we must be crystal clear – we stand with Israel.”
He added: “Like every nation in the world, Israel has the right to respond — indeed has a duty to respond — to these vicious attack

Ritchie Torres (D-NY) and his willingness to speak out forcefully in support of Israel and against the horrific equivocations that some on the far left, including a couple of his House colleagues have, not to mention the outright disgusting comments that some on the far left in American academia have been making online.

AOC initially issues a bit of a “both sides” statement but nowhere near as odious as the ones pout out by fellow Squad Members Rashida Tlaib and Cori Bush.
It looks like AOC today issued a statement denouncing the antisemitic NYC rally organized by the NY DSA which is an organization she has identified with. Jamaal Bowman, also a DSA member from NY has not done the same. Maybe he is looking for a fire alarm to pull.
Update: Bowman has denounced the antisemitic rally in NYC held by the Democratic Socialists.
