Touting his strong record of creating jobs, President Biden stepped up attacks on “the last guy” Donald Trump in a Labor Day speech before a parade in Philadelphia
With a crowd of union workers arrayed behind him, Biden derided Trump as the only president in recent history to leave office with fewer Americans earning a paycheck than when he entered the White House.
“The guy who held this job before me was just one of two presidents in history … who left office with fewer jobs in America than when he got elected to office,” Biden said. “By the way, you know who the other one was? Herbert Hoover.”….

Biden touted his self-proclaimed Bidenomics recovery plan even though most Americans give him failing marks on managing the economy.
He dinged Trump for failing to live up to his billing as a great builder.
“Guess what? The great real estate builder, the last guy, he didn’t build a damn thing,” Biden said. “Under my predecessor, infrastructure week became a punchline. On my watch … it’s a headline.”
A year before the general election campaign will enter the home stretch, Biden and Trump are virtually tied in most polls.
Biden keeps returning to Pennsylvania because it’s a key swing state that will likely determine whether he gets four more years in the White House, along with other battlegrounds like Arizona, Wisconsin and Georgia….
