Census estimates the last couple of years have been really screwy.
Nashville and Dallas–two booming cities each showed small losses from 2021-2023.
There was another list of the 25 municipalities with the highest population loss from 2021-23.
5 of the 25 were in Utah. A state known for it’s robust growth pre 2020.
I think by 2030 a lot of the post pandemic weirdness in these population shifts will shake themselves out.
