In the movie Napoleon Dynamite the character Uncle Rico was always reminiscing about 1982.
Uncle CG is similarly reminiscent about 2004.
Whether he knows it or not the GOP of that year is long long gone and like the parachute pants of 1982 not coming back.

Yes, 2004 when the Republicans were content only trying to scare folks with gay marriage and brown people. Today they have moved on to Transgender, Woke, CRT, and anyone basically different than their aging uneducated white base.
So Corey is nostalgic for those Bush folks who gave us the Great Recession and the wrong war in the wrong place that fed the near collapse of our economy and the growth of global terrorism.
