Colorado Springs is the home of the U.S. Air Force Academy, and thus a logical place for an intellectually-intense enterprise like the U.S,. Space Force. (I presume that aspiring Space Force officers would train there, just as aspiring Marine officers train at the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis.)
Colorado Springs (in a deeply purple state) is also a centre for right-wing evangelicals, such as the Family Research Council.
So a good choice by Biden , who ain’t gonna do Tupperville ANY favors…. eh?
