He was able to knock out many of his loudest Republican critics, including then-Reps. Liz Cheney, R-Wyo., and Tom Rice, R-S.C.
But there appears to be an acknowledgment in Trump’s approach now that he can’t win the general election without expanding his reach outside the overlapping Venn diagram circles of his existing base and the Republican electorate. He lost in both the Electoral College and the popular vote in 2020, after winning the former — and the White House — in the more anti-establishment, less rah-rah-Republican 2016 campaign….
Republican kooks and Trump supporters are now referring to DeSantis as “Desoros,” claiming that he is supported by the nutjobs favorite villain George Soros .
The Jewish Soros is often the object of fantastical tales among not only the Republican kooks but even among so called “ conservatives.”
Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has attracted some attention Of late but someone needs to explain political reality to the rookie.
Apparently he is suggesting Democratic presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy as his VP candidate.

Republicans like to flirt with Presidential minority candidates for a bit to pat themselves on the back for being inclusive. At least for a few news cycles.
