OUTRAGEOUS: While Tennesseeans are still reeling from the latest mass shooting at a school, a federal judge just cleared the way for the state to drop the minimum age for residents to carry guns publicly without a permit to 18 years old. The age was changed to 21 just two years ago. Last year, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee was asked if he’d support gun control measures, and his response was “We can’t control what we can’t control.” This was days after 19 elementary school students were slaughtered in Uvalde. Tennessee’s Republican-led population is roughly 7 million. In 2020, only 2.8 million eligible voters cast votes. That’s a lot of nonvoting citizens who could make a difference….
