My Name Is Jack says
From the Charleston Post and Courier on Nikki Haley….
“…there was a time when launching a presidential bid would have meant intense national scrutiny on her inability to get along with her fellow Republicans in the Statehouse, her carelessness with the truth, her refusal to admit her mistakes and her utter contempt for the rule of law.
She was, after all,the Governor who had protesters arrested for violating laws that didn’t exist and that she wouldn’t have had the authority to enforce even if they did exist, who persuaded her political party to put unqualified candidates on the ballot in defiance of a direct order of the state Supreme Court and who had to be reined in time after time by state and federal courts.
But the world has changed since then, and her lack of concern about accuracy and the rule of law…well, they seem downright quaint these days.”
Postscript: The newspaper then added that Nikki is clearly the best Republican candidate for president!
