I his campign speech he was throwing the idea of nuclear war around a LOT….
Infuring that ONLY he couyld keep America safe…..

After lauding his efforts of “completely” rebuilding the U.S. military, the twice-impeached former president — whose campaign promise to fortify the U.S.-Mexico border became an expensive failure — said the Space Force would have a “vital role to play.”
“Just as I rebuilt our military, especially our nuclear capabilities, I will build the shield to defend America from missile attacks,” said Trump before adding. “We will have a peace through strength.”….

Instead of a big rally, he appeared at the S.C. State House before several hundred supporters including Gov. Henry McMaster , Sen Lindsay Graham and State House Speakers Murrell Smith.
Most Republican offceholders refrained from appearing as former Gov. NikkiHaley and Sen. Tim Scott are considering presidential bids of their own.
Typical Trump performance ,except noticeably he failed to mention abortion.Recently Trump has implicitly criticized the absolutist position of many Republicans on the issue ,even blaming such for the poor Nov. showing of Republicans nationwide.
