Retailing at $295, the Air Jordan “DMP” tandem was a collector’s dream with its special packaging, golden dog tags, and limited availability. In addition to its obvious lure, the black & gold color scheme of the Air Jordan 6/11 “DMP” delivered a sense of luxury that further justified the nearly-$300 release.
The Air Jordan 6/11 “DMP” didn’t only define Jordan’s greatness but defined a new chapter in sneaker culture. Camping out would become commonpractice. Reselling for 2-3x over retail price would become reoccurring. Backdooring would become a basis…..
