I would suspect that some sort of deal will be worked out….
But I would alos suspect that in the end?
The Freedom peeople are so pissing off their fellow House Republicans AND US Senate Republicans that they could be aced out of much of anything in this new Congress….

McCarthy will be able to gather Republicans to work with certain Democrats to get some things done the way the ‘System’ IS set up to work…..

We can’t even swear in as members of congress until we elect a Speaker.
We can’t form committees until we elect a Speaker.
We (Republicans) can’t fire Nancy Pelosi loyal staff in the House & Capitol until we elect a Speaker.
We can’t investigate anything until we have a Speaker.

Gaetz has now written Architect of the Capitol to ask how long, after his poor showing in the vote today, McCarthy will be allowed to occupy Speaker’s official suite “before he is considered a squatter.” Getting more interesting every minute.

Passing legislation in the US House is going to HAVE to be with ‘deal’s’ with Democrats and Republicans OTHER than the 20 or so Freedom people….
