Santos is NOT who voters thought he was…..
Representative Hakeem Jeffries of New York, the incoming House Democratic leader, on Wednesday accused Representative-elect George Santos of being a “complete and utter fraud,” as a new report cast doubt on Mr. Santos’s account of his Jewish descent.
“His whole life. Made up,” Mr. Jeffries said at a news conference in Washington. “Did you perpetrate a fraud on voters of the Third Congressional District of New York?”
Hours before Mr. Jeffries spoke, The Forward, a Jewish publication based in New York City, reported that Mr. Santos, a Republican, may have misled voters about having Jewish ancestry, a claim he made on his website and in statements during his political campaign.
In his current biography, Mr. Santos says that his mother, Fatima Devolder, was born in Brazil to immigrants who “fled Jewish persecution in Ukraine, settled in Belgium, and again fled persecution during WWII.”
But according to The Forward — which cited information from myheritage.com, a genealogy website; Brazilian immigration cards; and databases of refugees — Ms. Devolder’s parents seemed to have been born in Brazil before World War II. CNN later published a similar report that also cited interviews with several genealogists….

Rep.-elect George Santos (R-N.Y.) on Thursday said he would tell his “story” next week after various reports raised questions about his life and suggested he may have embellished his résumé and made up claims about his Jewish heritage.
“To the people of #NY03 I have my story to tell and it will be told next week,” Santos tweeted. “I want to assure everyone that I will address your questions and that I remain committed to deliver the results I campaigned on; Public safety, Inflation, Education & more.”….
There are also questions to be answered here by New York Democrats.
Where is the Hell was the opposition research that would have exposed this con artist before the election?
I know little of the New York Democrats. But they also managed redistricting so badly that the courts replaced it with a map that, no doubt with other NY Dem errors, gave four new seats to the GOP (about enough to tip the balance in the USHR).
Perhaps, since he is closer to the ground, James can tell us more about the triumphs and failures of the New York Democrats in 2021-22.
Santos won in a district that was Thonas Suozzi’s.….
Suozzi would have kept the spot but he decided to run for Gov. against Hochol, a lousy politican, but still the Governor after Cuomo quit do to ‘Johnson’ problems….
Suozzi from the North Shore of LI was the my county of Nassau Excutive for two terms….
The NY 03 CD is the richest in the state….
I guess the rich people up there don’t do their….
It’s not just Santos….
Republicans did VERY good in last months midterms….
Nassau County is in transition ….
A LOT of moving in of New York City ethnic’s that do NOT vote, but would be Democrats….
And Trump IS popular among white property owners in the county of middle/high income….
But?
The bottom line IS YES….
Democrats screwed themselves in redistricting

More than one of the parties star players has been sent to jail for how they handled money badly….

I believe NY Democrats where so Thunder stuck by the loass of so many House seats thru their own stupidity that they dropped the ball….
