Those GOPer’s are NOT gonna be able to dance with Donald Trump and the crazies one would think…
They will NOT support savage political attacks against Biden, his son, or some other things Biden is popular with….
And ?
They COULD dance with Democrat’s from time to time….
The new Republican House Speaker is gonna have to bend like a prtezel for two years….
The number of House Republicans in crossover seats — districts carried by President Biden — nearly doubled from 2020 to 2022.
- Why it matters: This new cast of independent-minded Republicans could act as a moderating force in Kevin McCarthy’s caucus.
The new Congress will include 16 to 18 House Republicans in Biden districts — up from nine after the 2020 election.
- Six of the split-ticket lawmakers hail from New York. Three to five will represent California (pending race calls).
- The number of Democrats representing Trump districts dipped: There’ll likely be five of them — down from seven in the last Congress.
🔎 Between the lines: The majority-making Republicans who hail from blue districts want party leaders to focus on the economy, not impeachment….

As of this date there are still uncalled House races….
Uncalled Races: We are currently following 4 uncalled contests. Three races concluded yesterday. CA-22 was called for Rep. David Valadao (R) by 3300 votes, in AZ-AG, Kris Mayes (D) has defeated Abe Hamadeh (R) by 510 votes, with all votes counted pending a recount. In the New Hampshire House, The recounts concluded yesterday with 200 Republicans, 199 Democrats, and 1 tied race (which will likely go to the Republican as the seat will be adjudicated by the rest of the House). However, two Dem wins and the tie will be re-recounted after Thanksgiving. In any case it looks like Republicans will have held the chamber by the narrowest of margins.
The current House standings of confirmed wins (by major media call or concession) are 220R–212D.
Here is the GOP’s path up from 218…
