Donald Trump has sued the New York Attorney General IN FLORIDA for privacy invasion and in attempt to stop the state civil suit accusing him and his comppany of insurance and other types of fraud….
Trump lawyers had a falling out on this….
Why?
The lawsuit is just a Bull Shit attempt to get a friendlier place to beat the Attorney General’s efforts to hold him and his family accoutable for lying to businesses, banks and the tax collector’s…..
He has NOT been able to get away from the AG’s efforts….
He has called her names in public….
She has remained calm and beared down harder in response….
He has had his people set up a new company in Delaware to transfer the businesses assets away from the AG….
This while the Trump Organiztion is on trail
Donald Trump’s Trump Organization is in court right now in Manhattan on CRIMINAL charges also…
If Trump was to lose either or BOTH cases?
It could cost him hundreds of million of dollars in business and possible tax fines…
And create a HUGE drag on someone who wantrs to run for President and has to also worry about more criminal liabilities from the Justice Dept. and a DA in Georgia….
Donald Trump as usual?
Is going to the media to make noise as his defense when he gets in trouble….
One somehow thinks that the next year is going to be the one that Donald J. Trump losses MORE than his day job and losses a bit of money…His ducking the law seems to finally be catching up with him….
A tirade of a lawsuit that Donald J. Trump filed on Wednesday against one of his chief antagonists, the New York attorney general, was hotly opposed by several of his longstanding legal advisers, who attempted an intervention hours before it was submitted to a court.
Those opposed to the suit told the Florida attorneys who drafted it that it was frivolous and would fail, according to people with knowledge of the matter. The loudest objection came from the general counsel of Mr. Trump’s real estate business, who warned that the Floridians might be committing malpractice.
Nonetheless, the suit was filed. It accuses Attorney General Letitia James of trespassing on Mr. Trump’s right to privacy in Florida, where he lives, and seeks to halt her own civil case in New York against the former president and his company.
On Wednesday evening, Mr. Trump used his social network, Truth Social, to announce his suit and to criticize Ms. James in charged language, saying that “while James does nothing to protect New York against these violent crimes and criminals, she attacks great and upstanding businesses.”…

The former president has already tried unsuccessfully to stop Ms. James’s investigation, filing a complaint in federal court in New York that was dismissed in May.…
…
“This, certainly on its face, appears to be objectively frivolous,” said Gerald Greenberg, a partner at Gelber, Schachter and Greenberg, a Florida law firm. “I’m aware of no authority that allows a state court in Florida to enjoin or otherwise interfere with a law enforcement investigation being conducted by New York state authorities.”…
…
Indeed, on Thursday, Ms. James filed a letter with the New York judge, saying that Mr. Trump’s Florida lawsuit demonstrated that the former president was “attempting to shield the key documents governing the structure of his business conglomerate and ownership of his business assets from review.”

The Attorney General has the judge helping her nail down Trump’s company and making Trump pay for the effort….
This judge has history of being on Trump’s cases….
A judge on Thursday sided with New York Attorney General Letitia James in her bid for an independent monitor to oversee the Trump Organization’s preparation of financial statements amid pending review of a civil lawsuit.
Driving the news: “This court will appoint an independent monitor, to be paid by defendants, for the purpose of ensuring compliance with this order,” New York Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron wrote in the court filing.
- “If the monitor reasonably determines that defendants have violated this order, the monitor shall immediately report that matter to [Office of the Attorney General of the State of New York], defendants, and this Court.”
- The order also prevents the Trump Organization from selling or transferring any non-cash assets without giving the court and James’ office 14 days notice.
- Engoron has overseen previous legal battles between the former president and James, Politico notes.
What they’re saying: “Time and time again, the courts have ruled that Donald Trump cannot evade the law for personal gain,” James said in a statement…..
