James, if you can, please send Jack this information. I will let Scott know, but have no contact info for Jack.
Thank you.
My Name Is Jacksays
I check this site every once in awhile.
I am glad I did today.
I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of our friend Zreebs.I always enjoyed our conversations here, even when we disagreed .Though I never phisically met him, I considered him a friend.
Zreebs, it is fair to say, ended up having a more positive impact upon my own life and perspectives than the one other friend I made in my time on the blogosphere. He brokered no BS, gave praise and criticism where they were deserved, and over the course of years of association on this site was a sizable force in changing my mind on several matters. With him and a few others in my own personal life, it is at best hard to say where I would be without their influence. The man was the image of the “Happy Warrior.”
Some of the life advices I got from him in my last interaction with him several months back seem timely now: Show appreciation to those you love and to people who help you. Say thank you often. And seek the truth, wherever it leads. To quote one of my favorite songs: “Look deep in the eyes of love and find out what you were looking for.”
RIP. You were quite a great guy and will be very much missed.

Having done deep dives into the various states, I have a more sanguine view of things than do most forecasters, who are by and large defaulting to the banner of Republican triumphalism. There’s a LOT of stuff at play beyond the economic issues, the sputtering back to life of this post-Pandemic economy, and this promises to be a Midterm more like ’98/’02 in terms of bucking orthodoxy.
jamesbsays
GSE….
I’m closer to ur view in the Senate
But the Democrats aren’t gonna hold in the House I feel.,,,
I’d sire like to hear MORE views…
And am happy to hear from u guys!

My Midterms post is already done and on hold till next Monday….
AK Senator: Lisa Murkowski(R/I-Incumbent) 53-47 after ranked choice voting
IN Senator: Todd Young(R-Incumbent) 49-44 (Polls have showed a surprising underperformance on Young’s part here)

No effect on my net averages.

NY Governor: Kathy Hochul(D-Incumbent) 53-45
