The Republican Party is filled with uneducated bigots and liars who are desperate to maintain their “way of life” and the feeling of superiority that they think comes with it. Those “feelings” started with the Southern Strategy and extend to the belief that Obama was born in Africa, Hillary killed Vince Foster, and Biden stole an election. It allowed them to excuse the invasion of our Capitol as legitimate political discourse and then, as our host has tried to do, say that it’s “all the the rear view mirror.” An attempt to overthrow a legitimately elected government was no big deal as far as James is concerned — in fact, when I called him on it, he doubled down, saying nothing would come of the January 6th hearings. Nothing other than the truth, that the Republicans will firmly refuse to acknowledge.
I enjoy reading Jack’s postings and what Scott and Zreebs have to say, unfortunately they don’t visit that much anymore, nor, apparently does anyone else. I have often urged our host to self exam his comments and his obsession with responding to everything (especially when he doesn’t make sense like today). Comments that I am also firmly convinced keep others from even attempting to post lest they be lectured by someone who doesn’t know what he’s writing about. That hasn’t happened, and never will. Days go by here where James is essentially talking to himself. But, he is, if nothing else, stubborn.
