That alcohol come’s from Iowa….
And… A Presidential visit to Ioaw IS a Big Deal…..
Even a Democratic one….

This is part of a broader initiative to invest more in rural America. The White House is calling it the “Rural Playbook.”
During his visit, the president touted the bipartisan infrastructure bill that passed last year. It provides billions of dollars for rural communities to improve roads and bridges, water quality, and high-speed, broadband internet access.

More than $600 million will go to updating our public water systems, and $100 million is slated to bring high-speed internet access to rural areas.
Hostile territory
Iowa has never been fertile ground for Joe Biden. His 2020 presidential campaign had a fourth-place finish in the caucus and he lost to Donald Trump in the general election.
This is President Biden’s first trip back to Iowa since that loss. Not many Iowans approve of his performance as president. The latest Des Moines Register/Medicom Iowa poll shows nearly 60% of people surveyed disapprove of his actions and only a slim 35% of people approve of how he’s doing….
