  5. We should remember that this was the philosophy espoused by former poster CG who advocated Democrats voting for “ sane” Republicans ( of which there appears to be a diminishing number ,at least among recent candidates) .

    I don’t know enough about this particular candidate or her Democratic opponent to comment as to this particular race.

      Is this candidate going to pledge to oppose Trump in two years? Renounce the GOP’s anti gay, anti trans, anti education positions? Republicans are now accusing Democrats of being pedophiles, of being groomers of little children, they’re even going after Mickey Mouse. Sane Republicans? Will she speak out against this vile insanity? My guess is no.

      Corey Gross who never voted for a Democrat for statewide or federal office advocated that we Democrats vote for sane Republicans. Hysterical.

      In the past I voted for lots of Republicans, not any more. They simply move from one lie to the next, one manufactured outrage to the next — the grievance party for uneducated people who scream freedom over their right to infect others with a deadly virus.

      The major newspapers of this country are still playing in false equivalency and still trying to pretend that the 500 pound orange gorilla isn’t in the room. Over half the elected Republicans in this country attempted to overthrow a legitimate election because Donald Trump told them to. That’s not sane.

  9. Democrats should let Republican bill go to the floor on the senate to not allow Biden to cancel student loans…then when it fails and republicans go on record voting against something 43 million voters want…won’t change the midterms as dem’s already losing it, but could make majority tighter…

  10. As you might imagine I have a lot of dreams about my cancer. In my last dream Dr. Kwak asked me to create a control group so that I can better evaluate how my cancer is progressing. I excluded all Republicans because I can’t trust they would tell the truth on the survey.

                UVALDE, Texas (AP) — Texas Gov. Greg Abbott says 15 people were killed in a shooting Tuesday at an elementary school.

                Abbott says the suspected shooter, an 18-year-old man, also died and was believed to be killed by responding officers. He says 14 children and one teacher were killed at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, about 85 miles west of San Antonio.

                Abbott says the shooter had a handgun and possibly a rifle.

                Two people were dead after a shooting at a Texas elementary school on Tuesday, and more than two dozen children were injured, hospital officials said. Police have said the suspected shooter is in custody.

                Thirteen children were taken by ambulance or bus to Uvalde Memorial Hospital after an active shooter was reported at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, about 85 miles (135 kilometers) west of San Antonio, officials with the hospital said. The nature and severity of the people’s injuries wasn’t immediately known, as is whether the dead are included in that count….
