It would appear they have a point….

While Donald Trump goes after his fellow party members to get them to locked into his view of things ….
The CNN point of view would seem address something Donald Trump doesn’t care about….

Uh that has nothing to do with Joe Biden himself.Such would apply to any Democrat who was President be their name Warren ,Pelosi or hell, Manchin.
So,in essence this article says that any Republican who takes on a Democratic President will be popular among the “base.”

I think this whole thing is simplistic to the nth degree.
I don’t think “base” Republican voters are either more likely nor less likely to support DeSantis because of something Biden says.They are going to vote for DeSantis because they are Republicans.
There’s no real way to quantify this kind of thing anyway.
