Then there’s Nikki Haley,the former S.C. Governor and UN ambassador,a favorite of some Republicans for the nomination in 2024…
She says she wants candidates of a certain age(not defined) to take a cognitive test just like having to “release your tax returns .”
Presumably ,she was throwing a barb at Biden, then again the tax return part was either accidentally or intentionally aimed at Trump.
Nikki has bern trying to make up with Trump after lambasting him in the aftermath of his defeat and actions afterward..This won’t help.
Perhaps Nikki has given up on a reconciliation and is now embracing a role as an anti Trump Republican?
When I first read that, I honestly thought she was referring to the younger voters who comprised no small part of the Biden coalition. Now THAT would be a popular position within GOP Base circles.

Michael Cohen, the ex-lawyer of former President Trump, wrote on Sunday that President Biden’s best hope for reelection could be the former president himself.
In an opinion article for The Guardian, Cohen predicted that “Trump is likely to remain the gift that keeps on giving for Democrats — the living, breathing bogeyman under the bed who keeps their voters up at night.”
“As much as Democrats may want to run on their legislative agenda, the spectre of Trump could be their most effective strategy for maintaining power and is probably Biden’s best hope for re-election,” he wrote….

(For me?…This is principally about Biden…As we have seen in Virginia and elsewhere ?…The Economy and other issues come before Trump who has been muzzled mostly for the past few months)

Michael Cohen says that Trump is likely to be the gift which keeps on giving to the Democrats (at least in federal elections), while you’ve been continually maintaining that Trump’s influence is waning.
My view has been that Biden would run BETTER against Trump who he BEAT ALREADY….
