The Republican former governor of New Jersey gave a speech on this dates to the Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) that advised it’s members and the Grand old Party that they should jettison a former President that can’t get past his legit loss last November…..
We’ll wait for the pushback from that former President and his supporters….
As has been pointed out here and by others….
Trump’s support IS waning around the fringes of the Grand ole Party….
But?
Right now?
Nowhere enough to get Christie anything more than an occasions media piece …..
While the other potential GOP White House aspirants continue to tip-toe around former President Donald Trump, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie argued Saturday that his week’s election results marked the “beginning of a new era” for the Republican Party — one that looks “forward and not backwards” as he addressed the Republican Jewish Coalition in Las Vegas.

Trump Slams McConnell Over Infrastructure Bill
Former President Trump doubled down on his criticism of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and other Senate Republicans who voted in favor of passing a $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill, The Hill reports.
Said Trump: “All Republicans who voted for Democrat longevity should be ashamed of themselves, in particular Mitch McConnell, for granting a two month stay which allowed the Democrats time to work things out at our Country’s, and the Republican Party’s, expense!”
(Of course these GOPer’s WILL crow about the stuff done with the money…No matter what Trump cries about)

Ah?
The day after the fragile passage of President Biden’s infrastructure bill, House leaders were already working on Part Deux: passing the bigger social-safety-net bill two weeks from now — the week before Thanksgiving.
The intrigue: I’m told lawmakers are angling for invitations to the infrastructure signing ceremony even before the date has been announced — each making the case for why they were a vital part of closing the deal.
Biden wants to sign the bill as soon as possible. But the House is out this week, and Speaker Nancy Pelosi was expected to lead a delegation to the climate summit in Scotland.
Biden said Saturday that he’ll include Republicans: “Vice President Harris and I look forward to having a formal signing ceremony for this bipartisan infrastructure soon. … I’m not doing it this weekend because I want people who worked so hard to get this done — Democrats and Republicans — to be here when we sign it.”….

Yes let’s talk about Mitch McConnell or ,as he is affectionately known by the “usual suspect”
“Ol Mitch “
Rght after the Republican led insurrection on Jan. 6,a visibly shaken McConnell blasted Trump on the Senate floor.”Ol Mitch” calculated that surely this would wake up Republicans to the danger of continued support of Trump. He was wrong.
Realizing that Trumps hold n Republicans was much greater than he had calculated,”Ol Mitch “began a hasty retreat.
He voted against impeachment,he opposed a bipartisan investigation of the insurrection, blocked three bills Democrats introduced to counter Trump inspired new restrictive election laws and just recently endorsed Former football player Herschel Walker, a Trump sycophant who echoes Trumps lies about a “stolen election.”
Then comes word today that Trump didn’t even actually write the forward to “Ol Mitchs “autobiography.Instead Trump told Mitch to write it and he(Trump) would put it in.(I mean can any thinking person believe Trump could write something like that?).
Remember all this next time the “usual suspect” tries to pretend that McConnell is anything other than what he is….
“Ol Mitch…”
