And if Trump decides not to run, already there is chatter among multiple former top Trump administration officials about helping out with a DeSantis campaign.
“If Trump decides to get in, everyone else will fall by the wayside or say, ‘Trump’s the guy, we’ll back out.’ Because if you’re seen running in the primary, that hurts you in ‘28, in your own reelection — so there’s a lot of calculation going into, would you want to primary Trump or not,” said a former Trump campaign adviser….
My guess is they are putting this out there to convince potential Presidential candidates to drop those plans and vie to be VP instead.

Tonight’s Trump rally in Arizona would be an excellent opportunity for him to strongly encourage attendees to get the COVID vaccine like he and his family did at the start of it’s availability. He could also take credit for its development which happened on his watch.

Yes, I left the Republican Party for a lot of reasons, but it really comes down to truth. Since Trump took over, my former political party is made up of people who don’t tell the truth. People who can’t handle the truth. People who rejoice in lying.

Florida is recording more Covid cases than any other U.S. state ,as hospitalizations in some ares increase at the fastest rate since the start of the pandemic.
Meanwhile Gov. Ron DeSantis reiterated that there’ll be no mask mandates when schools reopen.
