They are staying with the ‘loser’ for next years Midterms….
One wonders if this makes sense…
Two House Republicans that called out Trump and the capitol protests are actually doing well in fundraising….
Voters voted for Biden and down ballot Republicans BEFORE the Jan.6th Capitol protest and violence…
Trump’s approval numbers among the general public have nose dived….
Biden and Co. have given out Billions to American voters and by the midterm vote will have given out even MORE….
And?
We ALL KNOW who the President IS…..
It seems more of a common fear that Trump will campaign against individual’s that do NOT promote his lying view of reality….It has nothing to do with actually winning anything….
The House GOP’s plan to win back power is becoming increasingly centered on one man: Donald J. Trump.

House GOP’s 10 Trump critics raise piles of cash in battle to hang on to their seats

Former President Donald Trump made his return to campaign politics last month by trekking to northern Ohio to take revenge on one of the 10 Republicans who voted to impeach him: Rep. Anthony Gonzalez.
But new campaign finance filings released this week show that Gonzalez narrowly outraised his Trump-supported primary foe in the last quarter, while boasting a war chest nearly three times the size of his opponent.
The 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump for inciting the January 6 insurrection are fully aware that the former President and his acolytes are determined to kick them out of their seats from South Carolina to California. Between April and June, all 10 raised more money than their primary foes, pitting the enduring strength of Trump’s sway against the power of incumbents who have the ability to raise piles of cash in Washington and from around the country. One Republican — New York Rep. John Katko — does not even have a primary challenger yet, although Trump has pledged to find one.
“Many times I couldn’t care less what the former President says about me or says period — other than the more dangerous elements of his speeches obviously,” Gonzalez told CNN.
While Trump remains the dominant force in the GOP, what is less clear is how powerful his endorsement will turn out to be next year — and whether the former President will actually invest the time, energy and money to defeat those incumbents.
The National Republican Congressional Committee, which is the House GOP’s main campaign arm, is staying out of the primaries — saying it’s the group’s policy not to engage in intraparty conflicts — leaving the candidates to fend for themselves.
Some Republicans facing the Trump onslaught say they’re perfectly fine with that…
