Just seeing a brief clip of Trump at Mar-A-Lago this weekend made clear what should have been screamingly obvious had I not been unconsciously making the normal assumptions of rationality.

I.e. in his delusional, paranoid mind (one where failure is never an acceptable option, let alone the admission of failure), he imagines that he can take back (in his mind, correct; in reality, steal) enough Electoral Votes to remain The Rightful President and unseat The Usurper.
Very sad to say, millions (or tens of millions) of Americans share that poisonous delusion.
