The negotiations HAD been close to a deal….
But it appears that President Biden’s ‘Go BIG’ thing just wasn’t gonna work with Republicans Senator’s….
Biden wanted to pay for the Infrastructure AND climate change AND other social safety net things with tax increases….He is under pressure from Democratic Progressives to do more social programs…..And to move ahead without the Republicans as he did with the stimulus package….
THAT is NOT something Senate GOPer’s wanted to hear…
They wanted a slimmed down approach, with little to no tax increases…

Earlier Monday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the administration is still in pursuit of a bipartisan compromise — and is open to another meeting with Republicans.
“The ball is in the Republicans’ court,” she said at her daily press briefing.
Asked why the White House is not compromising on the climate-change or home-care provisions, which the GOP rejects, a senior administration official said last week that the negotiations represent an opportunity to demonstrate policy priorities to the other side….

I am truly shocked at this development!
Republicans are never going to agree on taxing the wealthy.Thats who they represent.
I have really enjoyed some of these Republicans ,like Kremlin Cruz,saying they aren’t taking anymore corporate money.
Hell they own his vote for free!
