Former President Donald Trump fired a high, hard fastball at Major League Baseball on Friday night, urging fans to boycott the “national pastime” over its decision to pull this year’s All-Star Game from the Atlanta area.
Trump asserted MLB’s leadership was “afraid of the Radical Left Democrats,” claiming the party pressured MLB to relocate its mid-summer game because of Georgia’s new election law, recently signed by Republican Gov. Brian Kemp.
The former president also took aim at large “woke” corporations that issued statements against the Georgia law….

“Boycott baseball,” Trump urged, “and all of the woke companies that are interfering with Free and Fair Elections. Are you listening Coke, Delta, and all!”…

During his presidency, Trump repeatedly hammered the NFL for allowing national anthem protestsalong its sidelines prior to games, and last year labeled the NBA a “political organization” after several teams called off playoff games in protest of police brutality.
Trump has also characterized the NBA as being “bought off” by China, claiming the basketball league has favored its own overseas profits over supporting pro-democratic policies….

Desperate for money towards the end of the campaign,Trump sent out appeals for money from his erstwhile supporters ,many of whom heeded his call.
The Problem?The Crook fashioned the contributions with”small print” which made the contribution a monthly recurring one.In other words the contributors account or credit card Is debited each month for the amount of their original contribution!
Apparently banks and credit cards are being inundated with complaints of fraud from the suckers.
Any dumbass that would contribute a penny to this hustler deserves what happens to them.

Well, I recall how the Sports bars lost clients because conservatives were outraged at players kneeling. So if football and baseball are no longer options , maybe conservatives might suddenly take an interest in basketball? and there is always NASCAR.
No, there are all those Black Lives Matter patches on NBA jerseys. With major-league baseball, American football and basketball responding to so many of their players and assistant coaches who are not white Anglophones, perhaps Republicans will have to watch the most proletarian and least-integrated Big Four sport: ice hockey. Lots of Canadians and East Europeans, but so far little of this racial agitation.
On the other hand, an NHL All-Star game would make everyone stand for “O Canada!” Maybe Trumpists can insist on kneeling for the Canadian national anthem.

baseball, Football and basketball are largely (but obviously not exclusively) American sports. Ice hockey is less American than those other sports. So perhaps ice hockey is an option for conservatives to watch. We’ll see. I still think that NASCAR is a more likely option. I recall when I lived in Charlotte, there were conservatives who would go to the Charlotte Motor Speedway and return excited about how wonderful the air was there smelling of gasoline and exhaust fumes. I never did get to see the Charlotte Motor Speedway – even though I lived in Charlotte for 16 years.

Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel shared Saturday that she wouldn’t be watching baseball after Major League Baseball pulled the All-Star Game from Atlanta in response to Georgia’s controversial new voting law that critics say will disproportionately affect people of color.
“Guess what I am doing today?” McDaniel tweeted. “Not watching baseball!!!!”
McDaniel is among several Republicans, including former President Donald Trump, to boycott or threaten to boycott MLB after the organization’s decision to move the All-Star Game.
