A thought on this latest Capitol incident….
The cop’s that protect the place and it’s inhabitants deserve more…
A police department 200+ under staffed….
A police département that seems to have no support from those they protect….
A police department that has to work overtime to compensate for the understaffing…
A police département that must go thru hoops to get what any other dept would get just for asking…
A police département it’s Congress wants to be there , but not heard from…
Even with the second member of it’s department dying while doing their duties?
They are looked at with ‘hands off’ it appears by the Congress, who are their ‘citizens’….
Their posts ARE a ‘target’….
(They also provide security for lawmakers outside Washington)
The car driven today could have more weapons or worst explosives…
We just had a major attack 90 days or so before to the Capitol with serious injuries and vandalism….
It IS time to get serious in strengthen their ranks and their jobs….
