He has been EVERYWHERE….
He gets good polling numbers…
And he knows his stuff….
President Biden listens to him and has him as his top medical advisor …(Trump grew to hate him)
But it’s been a long haul and things have been all over the place with the vaccines and infections…
As with anything also…
The media tends to turn on anyone that is on the top for a long time….
The vaccine shots selling push has put him in the cross hairs….
People want to go back to normal…
The vaccine WAS supposed to do that….
The idea of still wearing masks and limited travel is beginning to come back at Fauci and other experts as a WTF? negative…
In April 2020, Fauci enjoyed headlines like these:
“Anthony Fauci – the Most Trusted Man in America” — The New Yorker
“Study: Americans trust Fauci more than Trump or their own governors” — USA Today
“Dr. Anthony Fauci and Andrew Cuomo remain the most trusted leaders on coronavirus, while Donald Trump and Jared Kushner are the least trusted” — Business Insider
But things seem to have turned in recent weeks as the ubiquitous Fauci continues to hold interview after interview with the same message about the way Americans should conduct themselves after being vaccinated. Last weekend, for example, MSNBC host Mehdi Hasan asked Fauci the following question: “What is the message to vaccinated and unvaccinated Americans as to what they should and should not be doing right now? For example, eating and drinking indoors in restaurants and bars … is that OK now?”
“No, it’s still not OK,” Fauci replied, citing new cases still above 50,000 per day before adding: “If you are vaccinated, please remember that you still have to be careful and not get involved in crowded situations, particularly indoors where people are not wearing masks.” ….
…
In other words, getting the vaccine means not going out with your friends to a restaurant, according to Fauci. Or taking a much-deserved vacation, according to Osterholm. Because that’s like walking into a big fire, right?
Living in fear for the foreseeable future seems to be the overall message that many Americans are hearing from more than a few doctors who really need to get their media-exposure diets under control….

Virus fatigue…..
Amid the new surge, Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer (D) has avoided instituting new lockdowns after receiving backlash from Republicans and facing an alleged kidnapping plot due to her coronavirus restrictions last year. She and other state politicians have instead asked the Biden administration to send more vaccine doses to the state.
“When there’s a surge, we think that it’s important to rush in to meet where that need is,” Whitmer said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”
“Because what’s happening in Michigan today could be what’s happening in other states tomorrow, and so it’s on all of us to recognize that if we can squash where we’re seeing hot spots, it’s in everyone’s best interest.”…

Rather than just criticize Fauci, maybe the author of it would have presented contrary views from sone real experts in the infectious disease field.
There are some who feel that Fauci and the CDC are being a little too cautious as regards fully vaccinated people, notably Dr.Scott Gottlieb a former CDC Director.
However, maybe a little caution is called for.Infections are still running fairly high.
I notice the author Joe Concha ,is a “Fox News contributor.” Perhaps Concha ought to question Fox News’Favorite Doctor Marty Makary on his prediction back in February that Covid would “mostly be gone “ by April. Here we are at the middle of the month almost and new infections are running at around 70,000 a day.
I get that the Trump network ,like its hero ,doesn’t like Fauci but you want to kick him around? There are plenty of others too.
Essentially ,this is an opinion piece by a Right Winger.
It’s conclusions are not surprising.

The reality is that there ARE contrary views on the vaccine…
There are fatigue factors….
There are political factors…
And there IS the media reporting…

Explain to me the “contrary” views on the vaccines.
Have you been vaccinated?

Oh I thought you had some original thoughts.
Refer to my post above.
If Concha wants to kick Fauci around, there are plenty of his fellow “Fox News Contributors” he should examine also.
Once again.are you vaccinated?
