Despite all the ‘it’s Trump’s party’ stuff?
There ARE hold out’s against that….
In a pattern repeated during his time in office…
If a Republican does NOT bow to his wishes?
(This time in NOT helping him steal an American Presidential Election in plain sight)
Donald Trump goes after them….
Beating down on them looking for submission ….
Such is the case going on with US Senate Republican Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who was Trump’s guy until he went his own way on some things…
Here we have Trump bull shitting the fantasy that he ‘won’ last November’s election…
McConnell has to deal with President Biden….
Donald Trump is out of a job…..
And having a hard time dealing with reality….
“If that were Schumer instead of this dumb son of a bitch Mitch McConnell they would never allow it to happen. They would have fought it,” he said of election certifying on Jan. 6, the day his supporters led an insurrection on the Capitol to block President Biden’s formal victory.
Trump spent much of the speech, with many senators in the room, lashing into his former ally in personal terms, often to cheers from the party’s top donors. He falsely claimed that he won the Senate election for McConnell in Kentucky and attacked his wife, Elaine Chao, who served as Trump’s transportation secretary….
…
A spokesperson for McConnell, the Kentucky Republican who was just reelected to a seventh six-year term last year, didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
The latest verbal broadside against McConnell, the most powerful Republican still in elected office, comes as Trump reemerges as a dominant force in GOP politics. The former president has, in recent days, sought to rev up his small-dollar fundraising apparatus, and he is issuing a steady stream of endorsements for the 2022 midterm elections, in addition to battles over state party chairmanships.
Though many of Trump’s 2022 endorsements align with McConnell’s preferences, including backing a number of incumbent GOP senators for reelection, he has occasionally gotten crosswise with the Senate leader. Trump has pledged to oppose GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski in next year’s Alaska elections after Murkowski voted for his conviction in the Senate trial, though McConnell and his top allies say they will support Murkowski’s reelection.
It isn’t the first time Trump has gone after McConnell since leaving office. In February, Trump released an extensive statement bashing McConnell for being “a dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack.” The statement came just days after McConnell took to the Senate floor to flay Trump for his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol insurrection.
Several attendees said there was little response to Trump’s insult….
Note…
Trump working keeping ‘control’ of the Republican supporters is also directed at making money of their donations. by channeling them thru him…

Trump Says He’s the Key to Republican Fortunes
“Former President Donald Trump staked his claim to the Republican Party in a closed-door speech to donors Saturday night, casting his populist policies and attack-dog politics as the key to future Republican success,” the AP reports.
“Trump also reinforced his commitment to the GOP in his address, which comes as Republican officials seek to downplay an intraparty feud over Trump’s role in the party, his commitment to GOP fundraising and his plans for 2024.”

Clean Up time?
Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.), the Senate’s no. 2 Republican, refused to directly respond to former President Trump’s attack against Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) while urging Republicans to embrace party unity.
Speaking on “Fox News Sunday,” Thune was asked about remarks Trump made Saturday evening at a Republican National Committee (RNC) gathering at Mar-a-Lago, during which the former president reportedly referred to the Senate GOP leader as a “dumb son of a bitch” for not opposing the certification of the 2020 election results….
…
In response, Thune said on Sunday that such rhetoric was just “part of the style and tone that comes with the former president,” while adding that he believed the two men shared a common goal of defeating Democrats.

Positioning himself to become Senate Republican Leader when Mitch leaves.
Seeing as how around 40-45 members of the Senate caucus are confirmed Trumpites,he doesn’t want to offend the Master.
The average Republican politician “gets” what’s going on in the Republican Party even if a couple of posters here and in denial.

More clean Up efforts?
Arkansas’ Republican governor on Sunday knocked former President Donald Trump’s recent attacks on top party leaders as “divisive” and unhelpful for elected GOP officials around the country.
“Well, anything that is divisive is a concern and is not helpful for us fighting in the battles in Washington and at the state level,” Gov. Asa Hutchinson told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union” when asked about Trump having criticized top Republicans on Saturday while speaking to Republican National Committee donors. “In some ways, it’s not a big deal what he said, but at the same time whenever it draws attention, we don’t need that.”
“We need unity. We need to be focused together,” he added. “We have slim majorities or slim numbers in Washington and we got battles to fight. So we need to get beyond that.”…
