One of reasons is some of the money from those fundraisers could go to people who ARE Republicans but did NOT support his effort to change the election results…
Another could be those who voted to impeach him he does NOT want to help…
Cease and Desist letters have been sent out by his lawyers….
Could this be about him just wanting to make money off his name as a ‘brand’…Not other ‘party’ people?
Remember…
For Donald Trump?
It’s about ‘him’….
Nobody or anything else….
Former president Donald Trump has sent a cease-and-desist letter to at least three Republican organizations demanding they stop using his name and likeness to fundraise, two Trump advisers confirmed Saturday.
The letter, which was first reported by Politico, was sent to the Republican National Committee, the National Republican Congressional Committee and the National Republican Senatorial Committee. Representatives for the three groups did not immediately respond to requests for comment or for copies of the letter Saturday….

Despite some minor dissent within the Republican Party, Trump continues to assert himself as its leader. At his appearance at the Conservative Political Action Conference last month, Trump said his “America First” movement was just getting started, and speaker after speaker affirmed him as the future of the party. A demand that the GOP’s largest fundraising groups not raise money off Trump’s name could complicate Republicans’ efforts to take back the White House, Senate and House, as Trump has promised they will….

No surprise….
Former President Donald Trump is making official his plans to target Republican Sen. Lisa Murkowski, vowing to travel to Alaska to campaign against her ahead of the 2022 midterm elections.
In a statement to POLITICO on Saturday, Trump said: “I will not be endorsing, under any circumstances, the failed candidate from the great State of Alaska, Lisa Murkowski. She represents her state badly and her country even worse. I do not know where other people will be next year, but I know where I will be — in Alaska campaigning against a disloyal and very bad Senator.”….

If the GOP is Donald Trump and Donald Trump is the GOP, it makes no sense in any normal scenario to forbid the RNC, the NRSC and the NRCC to use his name at least in passing.
On the other hand, this is the litigation-crazy Donald Trump who reciprocates no loyalty and is incapable of gratitude.
Insofar as I know, the RNC, NRSC & NRCC would— at least formally — follow normal policy and practice by either supporting all incumbents in primaries, or maintaining neutrality among Republicans until the general election campaign against the Democrats.
This would mean raising and spending money for all those RINO traitors whom that megalomaniac hates with an unlimited passion.
And being a Rhode Islander, let me recall how alien Trump’s attitude to recent orthodox political practice.
In 2006, Sen. Lincoln Chafee (then R-RI) faced a Republican primary challenge from the orthodox right by Cranston, RI, mayor Steve Laffey. Chafee was then as far left as anyone still Republican could go (natural — apart from his own beliefs — since he and his father, Sen. John Chafee, had managed to win election or re-election in the bluest of deep-blue states every six years since 1976).
A classic example of his heterodoxy and reliance on his own lights (he actually read the intelligence briefing) was being the only Republican to join Bernie Sanders and only 21 of the 50 Democrats to oppose the 2002 Authorization to Use Military Force against Iraq. National Journal ranked his voting record dead-centre (50%) among all 100 Senators’.
I mention all this because when that primary challenge from the orthodox non-RINO right came, every Republican from every wing, including Mitch McConnell, came out to support Chafee, because he was the only Republican who had a prayer of winning the general, and thus continuing GOP management of the Senate. “A Republican from Rhode Island is a gift from the gods,” Mr. [Grover] Norquist said, “and is not to be looked at askance.”
[In the event, Lincoln Chafee, beaten by current Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D), was one of the six Republican Senators to lose his or her seat in the Democratic Wave of 2006. But that’s another story; my point is how different are the attitudes of Republicans who want to defend and advance their party and the ex-President who cannot let such a wish impede his thirst for revenge.]

trivial self-correction: Bernie Sanders (Ind.-Vt) voted against Force in Iraq in the House, because in 2002 he had not yet been elected to the Senate. The independent vote in the Senate against the war came from Jim Jeffords, another Vermont Independent.

DSD?
Like I’ve been saying….
Donald Trump don’t give a shit about the Grand ole’ Party….
It’s about his ego and wallet….
The evidence keeps mounting up but some people do NOT ‘get it‘…..

But they “give a shit” about him.
He owns them and they will do what he says.
Indeed RNC officials admitted that he was the reason people gave.
Republicans overwhelmingly favor Trump as the Leader and symbol of their party .

Meanwhile, as James regales us daily with this so called “civil war” in the Trump Party?
This article above tells the actual truth rather than his invented fantasies .
Please notEV the following from above….”Despite some MINOR DISSENT (emphasis added) within the Republican Party…”
You see James ,”minor dissent” does not a “civil war” make. Now hurry to google and find some Republican county commissioner in God knows where who uttered “maybe President Trump shouldn’t oppose Ms. Murkowski “and yell AHA! the “civil war “ is raging!
