Over 70% of people over 65 have gotten at least one dose of the vaccine.
New cases seem to be mainly now in younger people,the least vaccinated group.
Disappointed to hear the the Adminstration is not planning on issuing “vaccine passports.”
I think in the near future proving vaccination might become a big issue in all sorts of settings.Colleges are already saying proof of vaccination will be a prerequisite to fall semester admission.
Of course I have my personal vaccinations card.
The claim by the Covid 19 coordinator that such is not the government’s “job” seems a little weird.Whose “job” is it?
It’s that kind of voluntarism and localism (“sorry, not my department ask your governor/mayor or just do your own thing”) that helped get us deeper into this mess than we would have gone with more co-ordination.
Well, I am scheduled for Dose 1 on Wednesday afternoon. On Friday, I have a long overdue dental cleaning appointment which I am sure will be far more painful.

I feel like everyone I know is either vaccinated or on the way there.
Even some who sounded skeptical at first are getting their shots.
It makes me wonder if social media is helping produce a bandwagon effect.
