The CDC issues their guidelines for those American’s who have gotten their virus shots….
The main point is those vaccinated do Not have to be quarantined after being exposed to those who might have the virus…
This is backing up the concept of immunity to those with the shots…
For most Americans this a bit late…
They are moving ahead ….
But the information is good to have….
Some will use the info to push for lax mask usage ….
The CDC also said fully vaccinated people can gather indoors with those who are also fully vaccinated. And they do not need to quarantine, or be tested after exposure to the coronavirus, if they have no symptoms….
…
The guidance outlines several ways that fully vaccinated people can return to their old routines, although it is more general than what some people might have hoped for. It doesn’t explicitly say, for instance, whether vaccinated grandparents can hug and kiss their unvaccinated grandchildren, but appears to endorse such behavior by saying vaccinated people can safely gather indoors with those in one unvaccinated household without masks or physical distancing, as long as no one is at risk of severe disease.
A growing body of evidence suggests that fully vaccinated people are less likely to spread the virus to others, the CDC says. While some prevention measures continue to be necessary, the benefits of reducing social isolation “may outweigh the residual risk of fully vaccinated people becoming ill with covid-19” or transmitting the virus to others, the guidance say

You have to read this very carefully .
However,if you do you discover some things here that cry out for further explanation.
So one who is fully vaccinated and has waited the requisite period has been previously told told that the odds of contracting the virus is fairly small and, even if you do,you are likely to be asymptomatic or have a mild case. You won’t be hospitalized or die.Indeed, that’s the reason for getting vaccinated.
Here we are told that one fully vaccinated is “less likely” to spread the virus to others .
Yet the suggestions as to what one can do is very limited.
I suggest, as simply a lay person, that telling someone that once vaccinated it is highly unlikely they will get infected, that even if they do they likely won’t even notice it,and that they likely can’t pass it to others but then saying, but by the way ,you essentially can’t do much of anything?
Uh human nature being what it is?That message isn’t going to be observed very much.

CDC: There are now more people in the U.S. fully vaccinated against COVID than people who’ve had COVID since the pandemic began.
