Rep. Tim Ryan (D-Ohio) on Thursday said federal prosecutors in Washington, D.C., are “reviewing the footage” to see if members of Congress gave Capitol tours to rioters shortly before the deadly Jan. 6 insurrection.
Ryan, chairman of the House subcommittee with oversight of the Capitol Police, told reporters that accusations surrounding lawmakers allegedly giving “reconnaissance tours” to rioters before the attack are now “in the hands of the U.S. attorney here in D.C.”…

“Members of the group that attacked the Capitol seemed to have an unusually detailed knowledge of the layout of the Capitol Complex. The presence of these groups within the Capitol Complex was indeed suspicious,” the lawmakers wrote….
I would be greatly surprised if that happened.
Morally I think many of them are accomplices of what happened ,but as a legal matter?
I would think that would be very difficult to make a case for.
Unless more is published that we don’t know about now.
A local shop owner who took part in the “Stop the Steal” event in D.C. is mad that I mentioned that on her store’s Facebook page and has banned me from her antique store. As if I’d spend a dime at her hateful place. I hardly broke the story. An investigative journalist who broke the story about 2 local people arrested for being inside the Capitol on Jan 6 did. This lady says she wasn’t in the Capitol. But shared pictures online showing she was very close.
She’s long been known as a kook but with our municipal elections coming up she has decided that since an alderman and mayoral candidate did not complete a “victims of communism” survey they must be communists and said this shows they “don’t understand the Constitution”
Oh the irony of someone who wanted to overturn the election to lecture about “the Constitution” to local politicians because they didn’t fill out your loaded survey.
As for the commie stuff-as much of a shit heel Joe McCarthy was he at least didn’t lead a mob to storm the Capitol!

Possibly. I don’t know if there is any proof she was inside the Capitol like the others. One 20 year old from Missouri was charged as she and her uncle had photos with Nancy Pelosi’s broken name plate. Her lawyer said she got “caught in the moment”–uh huh
As to the antique store owner she is very vocal online with her “Stop the Steal” Biden is an illegitimate President stuff.. Of course she also claims to be the utmost supporter of the police and claimed I and “my kind” are anti police. Which is laughable to anyone who knows me and my volunteer work in my neighborhood over the last decade.
Her store is in a very progressive district and she has made known her disdain for immigrants (even thoigh she herself is a child of Syrian immigrants) black loves matter and LGBTQ. Oh she also sued the city over the mask mandate and is known to make anti mask comments to customers in her store.
People stop going to her store yet?
