That’s how much of a friend Bannon might be?
President Donald Trump has repeatedly spoken by phone with Steve Bannon in recent weeks to seek advice on his campaign to overturn his re-election defeat, reconciling with his once-estranged former White House strategist, according to people familiar with the matter.
One person familiar with the matter said the president has sought out allies who would tell him what he wants to hear as he promulgated false claims that the election was stolen from him.
It isn’t clear how many times the men have spoken or how recently. But Bannon has made considerable efforts to get back in Trump’s good graces since he departed as the president’s chief strategist in August 2017 and cooperated with Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation…

Bannon bragged in the book”American Carnage” that he had invented the “Deep State,” and then admitted there was no such thing.
Maybe he can invent some other hobgoblin to stir up the Trump rabble.

Reality:Not only was there no “solid” evidence,there was none at all.
While the term, “alternate reality” was being thrown around here as regards Trump.It appears such applies to a “solid” majority of the Republican Party.

It’s a poll James. We know you love them but a better poll were the 197 House Republicans who, after being presented with overwhelming evidence that Trump is a traitor, voted against holding him accountable.
That vote will haunt them.
There is also mounting evidence that the Republican rioters at the Capitol intended to kill elected officials and they got dangerously close to Mike Pence. How ironic would it be if they had succeeded?
Our government had a Republican sponsored coup attempt if what investigators are finding turns out to be true.
And 197 Republican Members of Congress are looking the other way. But by all means let’s discuss polls.

Trump Considers Pardoning Steve Bannon
“President Trump is considering granting a pardon to Steve Bannon, his former White House chief strategist and top campaign aide, who was charged with swindling donors to a private crowdsourcing effort to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border,” Politico reports.
“The potential pardon would follow a wave of reprieves the president has recently granted to political allies who have been convicted, charged or reportedly under federal investigation. Two additional batches of pardons are expected — one on Friday night and one Wednesday morning before President-elect Joe Biden is sworn into office.”

Bannon steals the money of their rank-and-file working & lower middle class base (cops, nurses, shopkeepers, mechanics, veterans, etc.) and then gets pardoned for screwing the people that Trump says he so lovers.
