The longer this is dragged out,the more compelling is the Republican argument that “Look he’s gone and the prime reason for Impeachment is to remove the offender from office.With the country facing so many problems.whats the point of this?”

Trump did not provoke Capitol riots, McCarthy says

Two days later, McCarthy said on the House floor that “the president bears responsibility for Wednesday’s attack on Congress by mob rioters. He should have immediately denounced the mob when he saw what was unfolding. These facts require immediate action by President Trump.”
The fresh comments from McCarthy, a staunch Trump ally, diverged from remarks by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who said Tuesday that Trump “provoked” the Jan. 6 riot….

Rumors are flying in S.C. that Lindsay Graham has prevailed upon S.C.attorney Butch Bowers to represent Trump in his prospective Impeachment trail.
Bowers is well known for representing wayward Republicans who get in ethical trouble ihere ,having,at various times ,represented former Governors Mark Sanford and Nikki Haley and present Gov. Henry McMaster .
I heard the list of possible defense attorney’s IS short to none….
