Out here in New England, RFK Jr’s Citizens Energy project made commercials thanking Citgo (owned by PdVSA, which really belongs to the Venezuelan people but was taken over by Húgo Chávez’ corrupt and utterly incompetent Bolivarian crony machine) for supplies of free heating oil for those in need. He basically became an enabler and local apologist for Chávez’ charm offensive to the American public.
As for dynastic Kennedy charisma, it didn’t unseat Sen. Ed Markey in the Mass. Democratic primary.
