I found a site that has the listing of just about ALL the aircraft used to transport Donald Trump, Joe Biden and their staff around the country during the recent campaign…
Trump mainly traveled in the US Air Force Special Missions (SAM) B0eing 747, called sign Air Force One when the President is actually on board…Other wise the aircraft call sign would be SAM whatever the aircraft’s N number is….
Trump also traveled a lot to smaller airports in a SAM B-757.…
Vice President Pence and the First Lady fly in a B-757….
Pence’s a/c call sign would be Air Force Two when he’s on board ….
Joe Biden traveled about Air Force Two for 8 years from 2008 to 2016…
He traveled mostly in a B-757, but from time to time on oversea’s missions he traveled in the backup Presidential B-747….
During the campaign this year Biden flew early on Gulfstream G650/450 and IV Business Jets….
After nailing the nomination he started off on the Gulfstream but then moved on a B-737-500 single aisle private Jet (above photo) to accommodate staff, media and his added on Secret Service protection detail…
Vice President Elect Kamala Harris was traveled on Gulfstream and Embraer jets mostly, she has a smaller traveling foot print…
Jill Biden and Doug Emhoff flew Gulfstream jets…

As we enter the homestretch in this year’s US presidential election, both campaigns are getting out and traveling more. As the campaign has progressed, tracking the aircraft used by both sides has become more difficult; of course Air Force One and Two flights have always been blocked by commercial flight trackers, unfortunately now most of the Biden fleet, including the flagship 737, are as well. Links to real-time tracking via ADS-B Exchange are provided below for all of the aircraft, which isn’t helpful for future flights, but can be used to keep tabs on where they are and where they’ve been.
This post will be updated regularly, but you may find additional photos, videos, and updates on the JetTip Twitter thread covering these flights. Upcoming activity is now highlighted on the top of this post, though there’s plenty of additional information if you keep scrolling!…

Seeing el Presidente’s helicopter flying over the Steal-the-Election rallies in Washington, D.C. today struck me immediately with the dramatic image that opens Leni Riefenstahl’s Triumph of the Will about the 1934 Nazi party rally in Nuremberg, The film opens with the image of a single monoplane carrying the man who will save Germany flying to the rally. I’m not sure how this will reproduce on the blog, but here’s one of many stills from that opening sequence of an artistic milestone that is politically profoundly disturbing (it taught me more about the appeal of fascism than any ten books).
