Trump also pardoned Kushner, the father of Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner, who pleaded guilty in 2004 to having made false statements to the Federal Election Commission, and he subsequently pleaded guilty to witness tampering, and tax evasion stemming from $6 million in political contributions and gifts mischaracterized as business expenses…..

Wednesday’s announcement is unlikely to be the last batch of clemency the president unleashes. Trump has told aides, advisers, allies, lawmakers and others to bring him names for consideration, according to two people who have spoken to him. Like others, they spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss private conversations.
“He wants to pardon people,” one of these people said. “If you have someone, now is the time.”….

WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump on Wednesday pardoned a former Maryland police officer who served 10 years in prison in a police brutality case after her canine partner attacked a man suspected of burglary.
Stephanie Mohr, a former officer with the Prince George’s County Police Department, was among the dozens of people who received clemency from Trump in the waning weeks of his presidency.
Trump has wielded his clemency powers in an unusual way, granting them to several allies, some of whom were convicted in cases tied to the president, and undercutting his own Justice Department in the process.
This week, Trump has issued several dozen clemencies, pardoning his former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort; his longtime ally, Roger Stone; his former campaign aide, George Papadopoulos; and his son-in-law’s father, Charles Kushner, to name a few.
Sure as good to know that all those Republicans and “Independents “(i.e., Republicans who don’t like to admit they are Republicans )voted for Trump cause they were “concerned” that the Democrats weren’t tough enough on..

Trump Prepares Pardon List for Aides and Family
“President Trump has prepared a sweeping list of individuals he’s hoping to pardon in the final days of his administration that includes senior White House officials, family members, prominent rappers — and possibly himself,” Bloomberg reports.
“Trump is hoping to announce the pardons on Jan. 19 — his final full day in office — and his ideas are currently being vetted by senior advisers and the White House counsel’s office.”
“The biggest question facing his legal team may be whether the president has the authority to pardon himself.”
