A few days after the GE I called it for the two Republicans at around 4 to 6 points.I see nothing to change that call.
Perdue won his last election here by around 8 points against an opponent arguably stronger than Ossof.
Before that Republicans were winning by double digit margins.
So the Democrats continue to make progress

Warnock was ahead in early polls but the recent polls are trending GOP….
And the turnout has expanded ….
The don’t vote thing probably fell apart…
Biden is acting like it’s gonna be Mirch’s still….

The idea that Trump ,for some odd reason ,would urge his followers not to vote struck me more as some Democratic fantasy than a reality.
The time for this mirage that Trumps isn’t “really” a Republican is long over. The fact is that the non or anti Trumpers are much less “Republican “ circa 2020 than Trump and his followers.
For sure Trump wants his fellow Republicans to win.
And while,as I point out, Democrats continue to do “better” in Georgia in statewide races and noting Bidens razor thin victory here last month,Georgia remains a red state .The election of two Republican Senators in a runoff in a hot political environment that still persists should come as no surprise.

I would call Georgia a purple stare now. I give the GOP Senators a slight edge in the runoff, but the 75,000 new voters registered in the state since the Nov election don’t sound like typical Republican voters. Mostly young, a lot of minorities. Stay tuned.

Good point Scott…
I think that’s what the person was talking about that had Jack questioning…

Trump IS making money off the Georgia vote…
Why wouldn’t he help it?

New Trafalgar polls showing the Georgia runoff’s slipping away from Democrats….
That polling outfit a GOP house…But Emerson shows the same basic movement in their poll from 2 days ago…
Turnout for Runoffs Reaches Presidential Levels
“Almost as many Georgians have voted in the U.S. Senate runoffs as at the same point before the presidential election, a huge turnout that reflects the high stakes of the race,” the Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.
“Over 1.1 million people had voted through Thursday, most of them at early voting locations that opened across the state this week… Such high turnout is unusual for a runoff, especially when compared to presidential elections that get the most voter interest.”
