The announcement of the go ahead with the Biden/Trump transition has send investors jumping for joy….

But the money people are thinking that the the economy will come roaring back in the Spring with a vaccine and maybe the end of virus restrictions …..

You just missed the concession speech with Pence at his side. Trump came out for 1 minute, praised the stock market, praised the vaccine, praised the trump admin for working hard and making these things possible and praised the American people and then left…

Oh, James & BDog, you mean that rueful announcement in front of one’s loyal but utterly dejected campaign workers that “I have just called my opponent to congratulate him and offer to help him in the best way I can. Now is the time for us all to come together and… (please no booing) …. ”
Most of us have been in that audience at one time or another, so we know the feeling.
I had basically a perfect record of going to Election Night gatherings where the candidate won. I do not think I ever heard (for a real election) a concession speech in person, but anything 2014 or before seems like a long time ago politically now.

No he praised the Trump folks…and that was his version of a concession speech, if you think you will ever hear him say he lost, well you will be long gone from this earth before that happens, that I think every person can agree with.
